Prison Reform.
Boisterous Black believes in rehabilitation and preparation for re-entry into an ever-changing society. So many members of our community were wrongly accused or in prison for petty or nonviolent crimes with overly heavy sentences. Our government has dumped them into prisons where they lose any sense of normalcy. We are looking to offer a program where we research prisons in every state, evaluate their educational programs, rehabilitation, and statistics for black felons and we develop a program that gives them an opportunity to break the chains and the cycle all at once. In addition, we aim to partner with legal teams in an effort to assist in appealing harshly sentenced cases for nonviolent crimes.
For research materials on the subject please visit the Prison Policy Initiative website.
Investigation
We aim to assist teams who are already fighting for those who are:

The Change up.
Boisterous Black believes in rehabilitation and preparation for re-entry into an ever-changing society. So many members of our community were wrongly accused or in prison for petty or nonviolent crimes with overly heavy sentences. Not to mention that black people have been traumatized for centuries with no way to cope. Our government has dumped our people into prisons where they lose any sense of normalcy. We are looking to offer a program where we research prisons in every state, evaluate their educational programs, rehabilitation, and statistics for black felons and we develop a program that gives them an opportunity to break the chains and the cycle all at once.
Welcome Home.
We also connect those who were released with people who can coach them on how to reenter society. Our goal is to develop the most detailed program that provides opportunities for former convicted felons to participate in exercises that help them adjust. This program will also connect them with people who hire felons and who agree to help them stay on track.
