What is investing?

Investing is essentially putting money aside, but leaving it to grow. The best method is diversity. Place your money in a number of different accounts that offer different benefits and watch how they each affect your initial investment provide much needed scurity. Investments could be stocks, bonds, annuities, IRAs, 401ks or other accounts that grow your money while you continue your daily life.

Can’t I just use my savings account?

Yes and no. There are many ways to invest. The goal is to put your money to work. Some savings accounts do incur interest, but there are more options that can offer you a much greater return. I know the banks have not been the most trustworthy, but you have the ability to check up on your money at any time to see how it works for you. Put your money to work!

What if I don’t have enough to set aside?

Always remember to pay yourself first. Invest in your future before you give all your money away. You’ll be surprised how much room you find when you make yourself a priority.
